In Jaunary 2007 consumer report (CR) has withdrawn its recent report on child carseats. The reason? CR said that 10 out of 12 carseats children are not safe, and actually recommended the withdrawal of a particular Carseat.

Now that should have been front-CR-impact crash-test will be conducted at 35 miles an hour, and side-impact crash tests on infant carseats were to be conducted at 38.5 mph NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ) disputed these claims, saying that consumer report of crash tests are organized in more than 70 miles / h.

This is a huge difference and probably, CR believes that the report may contain errors and removed.

Parents who are interested Producers Perplexed

The report CR, understandably, has caused a lot of anxiety among infants and children, parents, wondering if their child carseats now very safe for them very little. Carseat manufacturers are also concerned, perplexed and dismayed by reports in the determination of all carseats have been approved by federal regulations of the accident.

We understand the concern, and also happy that the CR has taken active steps for the conclusion of the report pending further inquiries.
